KIPP New Orleans Schools hosts Voter Registration Drives across high school campuses
More than 75 students at Frederick A. Douglass High School, John F. Kennedy High School and Booker T. Washington High School recently became registered voters.
KNOS partnered with members of the New Orleans (LA) Chapter of The Links, Inc., The Pontchartrain Chapter of the Links, Inc. and the New Orleans Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. to host the voter registration drives on all three campuses.
The event was held to help prepare students for early voting in November.
